These Comparison Shots Show Just How Ridiculously Thin The iPhone 5 Will Be

Building up to its expected September 12th release day we’ve seen practically everything there is to see concerning the iPhone 5, even down to its supposed A6 processor. We knew that it’s going to adopt a thinner design, but we have some pictures today showing just how amazingly thin it will be.

The pictures come from nowhereelse.fr who have been churning out tonnes of great leaked pictures like this in the recent months, and they show the sixth generation device compared to the iPhone 4 and 3GS.

Get The First Look At What The iPhone 5 Is going To Look Like With These Brilliant Renderings

We love a good graphic mock up of an Apple product here at The Apple Update, and today we have same fantastic ones of the upcoming iPhone 5. The guys over at Nowhereelse.fr have combined other leaked iPhone 5 picture parts with realistic backgrounds to show you just what this new device is going to look like.

They’ve followed all of the leaked parts to the millimetre including the new dock connector, clean unibody design and elongated 640 x 1163 pixel 4 inch screen. You can check out some of the pictures below and if you wish see the full 100 picture collection over here.

This Leaked Picture Shows The Current 30 Connector Against The iPhone 5′s Rumoured Smaller Dock

Along with the bigger 4 inch screen the other highly expected feature of the new iPhone 5 is a smaller dock connector. Rumours have been building ever since the stats of the year but due to the serge of news and leaked images it’s looking an almost certainty.

These Leaked Pictures Indicate The iPhone 5 Will Indeed Use A Nano Sim Card

One of the earlier rumours we heard about the upcoming iPhone 5 was that it would take a new even smaller nano sim. We first heard that back last year but now via 9to5mac we have leaked images that supposedly show the nano sim tray for the next iPhone.

The images predictably come from China and you can see the new tray is slightly smaller, this difference may seem insignificant but things like this are extremely important for a company like Apple who are constantly looking to make their devices smaller and thinner.

The New iPhone 5 May Only Have An 8 Pin Dock And Render Our Current Accessories Obslete [RUMOUR]

We have posted a number of articles, leaks and rumours over the past few weeks that indicate that the new iPhone 5 will bring us an all new smaller dock connector, currently rumoured to only contain 19 pins. This is opposed to the current famous iOS dock connector that contains 30 connector pins.

The Next iPhone 5 Will Have a 4 Inch Screen, metal back and new dock connector

You may remember on the run up to the launch of the iPad 3, iLounge editor Jeremy Horwitz said that he had got a hold of the iPad 3 a number of weeks before its reveal. From this the features he recalled such as it being slightly thicker and having a larger camera turned out to be correct.
Well Horwitz is back with another report now, this time claiming to have key details on the new iPhone. He states that the ‘iPhone 5′ as it is being called will have an elongated 4 inch screen, new metal back and an all new smaller dock connector.
