iPad Mini Rumoured To Be WiFi Only And Released Alongside A New Revised iPad

We are getting ever nearer the day when Apple is expected to unveil the iPad mini to the world, and with it fast approaching the rumours are still coming in thick and fast. This time the news comes from The Guardian Newspaper who are claiming that to keep costs down the new iPad mini will only come in a WiFi mode onlyl, and no 3G/4G version will be available. They also go on to say that that alongside this device in October an updated version of the current ‘new iPad’ will also be released.

Apple Preparing For Release Of New iPod Touch 5G And Delivery Of Pre Orders

It seems that those of you who pre ordered your new iPod Touch 5G last month could be seeing your new device at your doorstep pretty soon as two sources are reporting its release date nearing.

Macrumors have noted reports from numerous buyers who have all in the past couple if days had the debits taken from their accounts and their order now being marked as preparing for shipping.
Japanese blog Makotakara have also cited a source that has told them the new touch will hit the shelves on October 9th in Japan, however it was not mentioned if this also coincided with a UK and USA release date.

Analyst Backs Up Rumours Of An iPad Mini To Be Released in Q4 2012

With the success of the iPad many manufacturers have jumped on the bandwagon producing their own versions, and with this, has produced the market for a smaller tablet device. Due to the success of the smaller tablet it has always been wondered if we would see an iPad mini. Well rumours have been stacking up more and more making this scenario look almost certain, and now reputable analyst of KGI securities Ming-Chi Kuo is giving this new device a September 2012 release date.

Study Shows A Huge 95% Of All Tablet Internet Traffic Comes From An iPad

Results of a new study have been released yesterday and show even more so just how much the iPad is dominating the tablet market. The study looked into the amount of tablet web traffic coming from different devices and the iPad had an overwhelming lead.

The study by Chitika Insights was conducted by them sifting through their ad impressions, and found that a huge 94.6% of all their tablet web traffic was coming from an iPad. For a comparison the next closest was Samsung’s Galaxy tab which only managed a total of 1.22% of tablet web traffic.
