We’ve had another bit of news today hinting even more so at us seeing a new iMac 2012 coming in the last quarter of this year.
The tip off comes from AppleInsider who have done a bit of digging around inside of Boot camp files found in the latest Mountain Lion operating system from Apple. The goodies were found when looking into the files that say what models can boot windows from USB – a feature you are only able to do in newer models. Since the release of the new Retina MacBook Pro range we’re now looking to the iMac 2012 which we have been anticipating for so long now. Well if you were hoping for a major update as we were, you may be disappointed as the latest news indicates this will not be the case.
Reports such as that from Analyst’s at KIG Securities and Digitimes are indicating that we will indeed see a new iMac this September but it will not be a complete overhaul, more just a refresh of the current model with a completely new design coming in 2013.
