Wall Street Journal Analysts Predicting 8-10 Million iPhone 5′s To Be Sold In September

It’s now only a matter of hours until the start of Apple’s iPhone 5 event and Wall Street Journal’s analysts have already made their predictions on the sales figures of the sixth generation iPhone. They expect the iPhone 5 to smash previous sales records held by the 4S which sold 1 million units in the first day of Pre orders alone. With the new device expected to sell around the 1.3 – 1.5 million mark and go on to possibly 10 million by the end of September.

With its September 12 event only a week away we can now really get excited about what is going to come from this new iPhone 5. Thanks to all of the leaked images one thing we can be sure is that the iPhone 5 will be a lot thinner and also sport an elongated 4 inch screen.

One of the biggest changes that’s to come from the next sixth gen iPhone is its larger 4 inch screen, the first iPhone since its release in 2007 to not have a 3.5 Inch screen. These Comparison Shots Show Just How Ridiculously Thin The iPhone 5 Will Be

Building up to its expected September 12th release day we’ve seen practically everything there is to see concerning the iPhone 5, even down to its supposed A6 processor. We knew that it’s going to adopt a thinner design, but we have some pictures today showing just how amazingly thin it will be.

Sharp Begin Shipping Displays For The iPhone 5 This Month

Normally the world of Apple rumours relies on tip offs ornews from someone up the supply chain, well today major screen manufacturer Sharp have made it very easy for us by outwardly announcing that they will begin shipment of screens for the iPhone 5 this month.

Unlike the other screen producers such as LG, Sharp seem to be dismissing Apple’s prime rule of secrecy and publicly announcing that the screens will be shipped in August.
