French Designer Phillipe Starck reveals he’s working on a revolutionary product with Apple due in 8 months

A report from he French site Le Figaro has revealed that famous French designer Phillipe Starck has been working closely with Apple on a ‘revolutionary’ product that’s due in the next 8 months.

French designer Philippe Starck announced today on France Info that it is working with the U.S. computer group Apple in a project “revolutionary” that would emerge in eight months. “Indeed, there is a big project together which will be out in eight months,” said the designer in the show “Everything and its opposite.” Invoking the “religious cult of secrecy” of the California firm, he declined further detail, except to talk about a project “quite revolutionary (…)

Apple’s Upcoming HDTV Will Be Called The iPanel And Goes into Production This May

It’s pretty much a certainty now that Apple are working on their very own all in one HDTV. While everyone has been understandably referring to this as the ‘iTV’ there are a number of issues with this, the first being that British broadcaster ITV have already expressed the they will not let Apple do this.

We of all people know how many features are rumoured and expected from an upcoming iPhone, well this witty cartoon from Bizarro pretty much sums up everything we could want from the sixth generation device!

Production of the iPhone 5 is nearing as Foxconn hire 20,000 new workers

Whether it is actually going to be called the iPhone 5 or not, from news via M.I.C Gadget it seems that Apple’s primary manufacturer Foxconn are gearing up to start production of the next iPhone. The Chinese company has already received the order from Apple to produce the sixth generation iPhone, and combined with the issue of striking workers Foxconn is now recruiting an astonishing 20,000 new workers to help build the next iDevice.

Now the new iPad is out, everyone’s looking up to what’s expected from the next ‘iPhone 5′. It’s been given this term by bloggers and rumour merchants but will it actually be called that? Almost certainly not.

Tim Cook turns up at Beijing Apple store for meetings with executives and takes pictures with fans

Apple CEO Tim Cook has been seen today browsing the Apple retail store in Beijing, China. He was there to meet with a number of Chinese officials as the Cupertino based company plans further growth in China.

According to MacRumors most are suggesting it is the carriers Cook is there to see and it is believed on his trip he has met with executives from two huge Chinese mobile carriers China Unicorn and China Telecom. Apples spokeswoman for China Carolyn Wu said that the CEO was here to talk with carriers about Apple’s future plans for China, but declined to give anymore details on the content of the meetings.
