We haven’t had a report from the rumour mill that is DigiTimes for quite a while now, but we now have one backing up previous rumours of the 13 inch retina MacBook Pro that’s expected later this year.
The Taiwanese site supports previous reports saying that the smaller 13 inch model of the MacBook Pro has begun to be shipped from suppliers ready to go on sale some time before the year ends. New 2012 iMac model In September/October – May Not Have Retina Display
We mentioned yesterday how analyst Ming-Chi Kuo released information stating that a new iPad Mini will be released some time in Q4 of this year. Well the same analyst has also provided valuable information on the much anticipated 2012 iMac model.
Kuo claims that the new model has been delayed due to screen lamination issues, believing that it was originally meant to make its debut around WWDC this summer. Resultantly he is agreeing with other previous 2012 iMac release date predictions that this new all in one will come some time towards the back end of this year.
The chances of the new iMac debuting in September are slim.
The Updated 2012 iMac Range May Launch This October alongside the iPhone 5
After Apple choosing to only release the new Retina MacBook and not the 2012 iMac at this years WWDC, the question is just when are they going to release the all new all-in-one. Well Taiwanese tech news site DigiTimes has claimed it has had a tip off suggesting that Apple’s supply chain are gearing up to produce components for a final October 2012 release date of the new iMac.
Apple’s supply chain reportedly will start supplying components for the mass production of Apple’s upcoming new iMac all-in-one PC in July with the device’s official launch possibly around October, according to sources from upstream supply chain.

Apple Introduces The All New 2012 MacBook Pro – And It Doesn’t Disappoint!
As you may be aware the WWDC just past brought us the announcement of the much anticipated 2012 MacBook Pro range, and it doesn’t disappoint!
The upgrade brings us improved data transfer options with the addition of USB 3.0 and another thunderbolt port, as well as a host of new hardware upgrades. As predicted by us the key selling factor was the stunning new retina screen, making the retina MacBook Pro by far the highest resolution laptop you can buy.
