Rumours on an Apple HDTV have been around since I can remember, but we are starting to creep towards the release date area that most have pointed to. Tim Cook Adds To Apple HDTV Rumours Saying There’s “A Lot We Can Contribute”

Following up on yesterday’s report that Apple will be releasing their own Apple HDTV in 2013, Tim Cook further hinted at Apple’s plans to expand into the TV market in Apple’s earnings call yesterday.

CultOfMac tell us during the call, ‘Apple iTV’ mad analyst Gene Munster once again presented CEO Tim Cook with a question about Apple’s further plans in the Television market. While he was typically reserved, it definitely seems that something is in the works.

Apple Analyst Once Again Says An Apple HDTV Is Coming In Late 2013, With A Special Remote

The all Apple HDTV has been seriously rumoured to come from Apple since way back in 2011, and many of these rumours and predictions were from one Apple analyst in particular, Gene Munster.

Well Munster has come out with his latest predictions on the device today, and it certainly looks to be formulating together nicely. Analyst Deems Apple Are Highly Unlikely To Get Permission From UK Networks For Set-Top Box

Earlier today you may of read our post reporting the news that Apple may be in the process of making their own set-top TV box. The primary basis of this new device was that Apple were in talks with the major TV networks in regards to getting permission to stream their live channels, and allow users to watch their shows at a delayed rate time when they wish.

Source claims to of already seen the upcoming Apple HDTV, here’s what it looks like

We have been pointed at an anonymous tipster today via Cult Of Mac who claims to have already seen the upcoming all in one Apple HDTV, strengthening the idea that we are going to see a premiere TV set from Apple in the not too distant future.

The tipster says he has already seen the set in action, and said that visually it looks very similar to Apple’s current line of LED backlit cinema displays, except much bigger, indicating at a 50-60+ inch model.
