WWDC 2012 To Take Place On June 11th, New iMac & MacBook Pro Likely

WWDC to be on June 11. Fingers crossed for a new 2012 iMac and MacBook!

Earlier today Apple announced that their yearly World Wide Developers Conference will take place on June 11th in just a couple of months time at the Moscone convention center. Just two hours after making the $1600 a pop tickets go on sale earlier today they were all sold out. For a comparison in 2010 they took roughly a week to sell out and last year just half a day, so going by this increase it’s clearly the must go to convention for Apple lovers.

This was traditionally when the new iPhone would be launched, but since the 4S the schedule was moved to October, and the latest consensus is that the iPhone 5 is expected in October as well and not this WWDC event as we may hope.

However there is still a lot to look forward to on the product launch front. Both the 2012 MacBook Pro range and the new 2012 iMac are expected to be released around these dates, and so keep your eyes peeled for a release of one or maybe both of these new products at this event in June!
