First Unboxing Video Of The New iPad Appears On YouTube From Vietnam

Published on March 13th, 2012 by in iPad

There’s no tech head out there that doesn’t love a good unboxing is there? Well the first unboxing video from the new third generation iPad has just appeared online. The video is from a company in Vietnam, and unfortunately this does mean that unless you speak Vietnamese you’re not going to understand what they are saying, but never the less you get the first personal hands on look of the device.

Via Appleinsider we have been told the two men unboxing the iPad note that there are not many differences between the new device and its predecessor the iPad 2. They did note that the new iPad was a “very solid machine like the iPad 2, but is somewhat heavier and thicker.”

The video shows a 16GB ’4G’ model being unboxed, and looks to be in practically identical packaging to the iPad 2. They also provide a hands on look with the device showing you the larger camera, and running through a few of the settings.
