Since the what some considered ‘disappointing’ release of the iPhone 4S late last year, we have been ever more enthusiastic about what is to come from the next ‘iPhone 5′ rumoured to be a big redesign. Today we bring you a pictures from a beautiful concept mock up done by designer Antonio De Rosa.
Named the ‘iPhone SJ’ it is inspired by Steve Jobs, because as rumour has it this next iPhone will be the last project the great man himself worked on, apparently dedicating nearly all of his last working months on the upcoming device. The design comes equipped with a lot of the features we have been hearing and wanting in the iPhone 5, boasting a polycarbonate lightweight body, new A6 Duel core processor and a 10 mega pixel camera.
What inspired Antonio behind this design?
“I’ve developed many concepts with Apple in mind. Try to think to iWatch, launched in May 2010, months before iPod 6th generation, or the launch of the iBox, my personal vision of iTV or the iCam, a DSLR Camera with an iPhone ad brain. I thought [lets] give [the] iPhone [a] new design, simple and clean, as preferred by Steve Jobs… [the] Apple logo in front panel is the only break signal..a discontinuity with previous [the] line. Now many smartphones are similar and Apple need to show its brand just in front face”
