Apple release yearly investor proxy statement, reveals Tim Cook took home almost $400 Million

Every year Apple releases their annual proxy statement for all potential and current investors. Within this we learn that Apple CEO earned a total of $377,996,357 in compensation for the 2011 year. Of these earning, $900,017 was paid as salary, and $376,180,000 was awarded in stock. Meanwhile Steve Jobs was awarded his famous $1 a year salary, however he did die with over 5.5 million Apple shares, and being valued yesterday $427 per share don’t go thinking the Apple founder was hard done by!

On January 24th Apple has the announcement of the companies first quarter earnings, where we are expected once again to see record sales and earnings figures.
