Those who are avid fans of the famous block based game that is (like us!) will have been chomping at the bit for an iOS app version to be released. Well the wait is almost over as the App is scheduled to be released on the AppStore tomorrow.

The cult classic that was produced by Notch and the team at Mojang hit off to great success and as a result an iOS version has been heavily requested. However if you are expecting the full adventure mode such as on desk top, you may be in for a disappointment.

The App-based version will be taken back to the early days of Minecraft, where you are simply in a world full of various building blocks, no epic adventures, dungeons or baffles to fight for now. We are still excited for the app and it will be great to see what they have done with it.
Furthermore, with how original Minecraft has grown from this basic building block design to an adventure series with well over a million users, we would not be spurred if this version sees updates improving the amount it can do and it’s likeness to the desktop version.

Minecraft: Pocket edition, will be available to download from the AppStore tomorrow at the price of $9.99. If you are a Minecraft user or not let us know what you think of the App in the comments below, or by messaging us on Twitter @The_AppleUpdate
